I too wish i could be in the same shape i was when i was a gymnast! But whenever i work out, i always incorporate all the conditioning exercises that i remember doing… V-ups, swing ups, arch ups, push ups, candlestick jumps, heel rises, frog jumps, windshield wipers, etc etc etc… you can go run around the neighborhood for some cardio or if you go to a fitness gym, use the treadmill or elliptical. I still do handstand holds, and shoulder touches too… that always tends to get some stares when you’re at a fitness gym haha but it’s all i know… i don’t know how to work half those machines there and i just wish there was a single bar for chin up pullovers and a spring floor for plyometrics LOL!
or you could try P90X! i haven’t been able to make it all the way through because i never had a set time/place in my house to do it, but the exercises they do are really good and it’ll get you back in shape! I’m hoping to start that again soon! :)
